Andrés García Ibáñez: Una mirada al realismo español at Fundación Bancaja
In Valencia, Fundación Bancaja is hosting a dedicated exhibition on Andrés García Ibáñez, displaying nearly eighty pieces created from the mid-1990s to the present, some of which are being exhibited for the first time. The showcase includes eleven works by renowned artists such as Francisco de Goya and Joaquín Sorolla. Divided into four thematic sections, 'Los géneros tradicionales' features portraits and landscapes; 'Mito y alegoría' delves into mythological subjects and a neo-baroque style; 'Una aproximación emocional a la obra de Ludwig van Beethoven' acknowledges Beethoven's impact; and the last section emphasizes his collaboration with Antonio López, including joint sculptures for the Museo del Realismo Español Contemporáneo. This exhibition is open from September 25, 2026, to January 10, 2027, at Plaza de Tetuán, 23, Valencia.
