Andreco Unveils Lago Sospeso, a Collective Water Landscape in Rome's Vigne Nuove
Lago Sospeso, a collaborative installation created by Andreco (born in Rome, 1978), Studio Andreco, Futurecologies, and community members, presents a vast aquatic scene in the Vigne Nuove area of Rome. The unveiling is scheduled for Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 5 to 8 pm at Via Rodolfo Valentino 19. This initiative emerged from a co-design process that took place from February to May 2025, engaging 25 individuals, including students from Liceo Artistico Bramante and local residents. Water, representing tranquility and change, fosters a habitat filled with plants, algae, and fish, each marked by the contributors. The project is part of WE-Z, led by Municipio III Roma Montesacro, with backing from the European Urban Initiative and partners like ATER Roma. Daniele Cimaglia captured the photographs.
