Andrea Musto Brings "Safe. Nessuno si salva da solo" to Milan's MU.RO

Andrea Musto's solo exhibition "Safe. Nessuno si salva da solo" opens at MU.RO in Milan, curated by Paola Martino. The show runs from 22 September to 4 October 2026 at Viale Campania 33, with a vernissage on 21 September 2026 from 18:00 to 21:00. Public hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30–18:30. The project explores a central contradiction in Musto's practice: the promise of security that contemporary societies repeatedly make versus the increasingly evident fragility of that same promise. Musto links two seemingly opposed conditions as part of the same rupture — lives marked by war, violence, and forced migration, and those of individuals formally sheltered yet unable to build authentic bonds, increasingly isolated despite, or perhaps because of, pervasive digital connection. The exhibition uses sculptures and installations to interrogate the fragility of the present, asking who is truly safe and under what conditions. Rather than presenting a simple parallel, the work examines how these two states coexist and inform one another. The show is Musto's personal exhibition in Milan, curated by Paola Martino, and takes place in the MU.RO spaces on Viale Campania 33.
