Anders Gjennestad’s Street Art Freezes Bodies in Mid-Air

Norwegian-born, Berlin-based artist Anders Gjennestad (b. 1980) creates street art that suspends human figures in empty space, their elongated shadows amplifying motion. Represented by Galerie Friedmann-Hahn since 2010, he works across murals, canvas, and reliefs, consistently deconstructing and recontextualizing his subjects.
