Anastasiou Misseri Transforms Nicosia Apartment No. 201 into Art-Focused Pied-à-Terre
Founded in 2020 by Michalis Anastasiou and Stephanie Misseri, the Nicosia-based studio Anastasiou Misseri has finalized Apartment No. 201, a 99.40 m² (1,070 sq ft) pied-à-terre located in a residential building from the early 2000s in Nicosia, Cyprus. The renovation involved transforming one of the three bedrooms into a walk-in wardrobe, resulting in a two-bedroom configuration. A seamless line of custom cabinetry extends from the kitchen into the living area, where it transitions into a display shelving unit. Prominent marble accents are present as skirting in every room, as well as in the kitchen worktop and bathroom finishes. The design features a distinctive reading nook on a raised carpeted platform. Construction wrapped up in May 2025, with furniture and art installation slated for 2026. The studio also received the 2025 State Architecture Award for a traditional house restoration in Kaimakli, showcasing a cohesive approach to interior design.
