Ana Mendieta at Tate Modern, Constable's Hay Wain Returns to Suffolk

Tate Modern hosts a major exhibition of Ana Mendieta, whose ephemeral works were inspired by Neolithic monuments and embrace nature in an original way, from 15 July to 17 January. John Constable's pastoral masterpiece The Hay Wain returns to Christchurch Mansion in Ipswich until 4 October, in his 250th birthday year. Other highlights include Madelon Vriesendorp's surreal art at Sir John Soane's Museum (15 July to 20 September), John Kay's caricatures of Enlightenment Edinburgh at Scottish National Gallery (until 6 December), and Jasper Marsalis's webcam landscapes at Chisenhale Gallery (until 6 September). A new exhibition at V&A Dundee (until 28 August) explores the career of architect Kathryn Findlay, known for the Soft and Hairy House in Tokyo. The week also features Richard Malone dressing Björk, Andreas Angelidakis's RuPaul-influenced Venice pavilion, and the History of Advertising Trust's 50th anniversary. Masterpiece of the week is Annibale Carracci's Young Satyr Gathering Grapes (1597-1600) at the National Gallery, London.
