Ampuero Yutronic Designs The Bridle Path in Epsom, Surrey

Chilean architecture firm Ampuero Yutronic has completed The Bridle Path, a contemporary house in Epsom, Surrey, southwest of London. The 80-square-meter project, led by architects Javier Ampuero and Catalina Yutronic, consists of two simple volumes that shift and interlock in response to the low-density suburban context. Rather than an isolated object, the composition derives from the scale, alignment, and material character of neighboring buildings, allowing the house to develop its own identity while maintaining a connection to the site. The design team included Andy Wakefield, with structural engineering by Constant Structural Design and general construction by S. Harris LTD. Materials and products used include Cortizo Vision Plus, Crest Nordic, Dekton Umber, and Holte. The project was curated by Valentina Díaz and is slated for completion in 2026.
