Amar Kanwar, Raqib Shaw and Jenkin Van Zyl Lead Autumn Art Openings in UK

Amar Kanwar's video installation, showcasing themes of displacement, nationalism, violence, and memory, is on display at Serpentine North in London from 23 September to 3 January. Raqib Shaw presents his first significant UK exhibition since 2017 at Compton Verney in Warwickshire, available from 19 September to 21 February. Jenkin Van Zyl's immersive film installation will be featured at Somerset House Studios in London from 24 September to 29 November. Rae Yen Song's exhibition at Fact in Liverpool, centered on mythology and spirituality, continues until 14 February. Notable releases include Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom, Bad Apples with Saoirse Ronan, and Queen at Sea starring Juliette Binoche. Celya AB will tour Glasgow, Newcastle, and Sheffield from 23 September to 1 November, while Birmingham Royal Ballet's Swan Lake is at Birmingham Hippodrome from 23 September to 31 October. Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? is running in London from 21 September to 19 December, and Death of a Salesman will be presented at Liverpool Everyman from 19 September to 10 October. Streaming highlights feature Brothers on Apple TV starting 23 September and Youth on HBO Max from 21 September. Silent Hill: Townfall is set to launch on PS5 and PC on 24 September. Albums currently available include Carly Rae Jepsen's Day and Night and Miley Cyrus's Bass Persuades.
