Altra and Brandnation Launch 'The Legacy Team' Campaign with Rankin Portraits of Britain's Oldest Runners
Altra has launched 'The Legacy Team,' a new advertising campaign featuring four British runners aged between 75 and 85, with stunning photography by Rankin. Created by Brandnation, the aim is to inspire younger generations by celebrating these athletes' impressive longevity, whose ages add up to 321 years. Among them, 85-year-old Peter Giles holds the title of the fastest octogenarian in the UK for the 5km. Rajinder Singh MBE, 79, started running as a child in India. Another 85-year-old, Laurence Cummings, has broken 204 parkrun records in his age group. Pritpal Kaur, 75, was the oldest British Asian in this year's London Marathon, finishing the race while battling blood cancer. The campaign also includes a free book called 'The Long Run,' which will be shared across various platforms.
