Allprace's Gabled Hargis House in Culver City Emphasizes Warmth and Permanence

Allprace, a design-build studio, has finalized Hargis, a home located in Culver City, Los Angeles County, characterized by its gabled roofs and natural materials such as wood and stone. Created for a client who appreciates subtle luxury, the new structure replaces an old house and garage. The project consists of a main house and a separate guesthouse, emphasizing a tranquil environment. Founders Shanty and James Mulyadi prioritized a sense of warmth and durability. The main residence showcases both gabled and flat roofs, with facades made of wood and light-hued brick. The ground level includes an open kitchen, dining area, living room, bedroom, and garage, while the upper level contains additional bedrooms and a den.
