Alice Pedroletti: Becoming the Instrument of Photography

In an interview with Davide Dal Sasso for Artribune, multidisciplinary artist Alice Pedroletti discusses her practice, which centers on environment, geography, architecture, and geopolitics. Pedroletti, who worked as a commercial photographer for fifteen years and taught at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan, founded ATRII Open Archive in 2015 and later co-founded Associazione ATRII with curator Eugenio Martino Nesi, hosted at the Cittadella degli Archivi in Milan. Since 2018, she has been part of the Temporal School of Experimental Geography (UK/ES) and Rabbit Island (USA). In 2020, she won the Italian Council program (IX edition) of the Italian Ministry for Cultural Heritage.
