Ali Hassoun and Annika Geigel's "The Golden Age" Opens at Galleria Vik Milano, Curated by Alessandro Riva
The Golden Age, curated by Alessandro Riva, will showcase the works of Ali Hassoun and Annika Geigel at Galleria Vik Milano, located at via Silvio Pellico 8. The exhibition runs from 19 October to 24 November 2026, with an opening reception on 19 October at 18.30; the gallery operates daily from 10.00 to 21.00. Born in Sidon in 1964, Hassoun blends African and Arab elements into his Italian paintings, notably in his diptych Il Buongoverno, which offers a new take on Lorenzetti's art. Geigel, a Munich native born in 1995, depicts intimate interactions between female figures and nature. The duo previously displayed their work Bidaya in Dubai in 2023 and currently share a studio in Marina di Pietrasanta.
