Alexis Dornier's Villa Suki: A Geometric Retreat in Bali
Villa Suki, designed by Alexis Dornier, is a private residence in Bali, Indonesia, completed in 2025. The 990 m² house is organized as a perfect square rotated 45 degrees against its near-rectangular plot, creating triangular gardens on each side that extend the architecture into the landscape. The design emphasizes geometry, light, and controlled exposure to the tropical climate. The project was curated by Miwa Negoro, with construction by Bali Construction, landscape design by Bali Lanscape Company, interior design by Riem Studio, and lighting design by Studio Nimmersatt. Photographs were taken by KIE.
