Alexander Endrullat Creates Intaglio Prints Using Discarded Laptops

Artist Alexander Endrullat, based in Leipzig, Germany, has developed a series called Off the Grid that employs obsolete laptops as printing plates for intaglio works. The project originated from frustration with outdated technology, leading to an experimental process where devices are run through a century-old press. Each impression progressively damages the laptops, revealing wear patterns and internal details that comment on material consumption and digital device architecture.
