Alex Proba and Cerámica Suro Unveil Ceramic Mural in Guadalajara

In Guadalajara, Mexico, the Torre San Luis hotel now features a large ceramic tile mural titled 'Shape of Movement,' created by Alex Proba in collaboration with Cerámica Suro. This artwork consists of thousands of handcrafted tiles arranged in abstract designs that represent a vibrant garden ecosystem. Proba employs an organic visual style, utilizing a color scheme of earthy neutrals, dusty pinks, and blues that mirror the sunlit surroundings. The lively shapes seem to be in motion, symbolizing interaction with the architecture. This project marks the duo's second partnership, having previously worked together on a swimming pool installation at a residence in Miami.
