Alessandro Michele Reimagines Valentino's Rockstud Spike Bag for Fall/Winter 2027

other · 2026-09-21

After ten years since its debut, the Valentino Rockstud Spike Bag has been updated by Alessandro Michele for the Interferenze Fall/Winter 2027 collection. The new design features a longer, horizontal silhouette, an adjustable chain strap, and hand-applied platinum studs. It’s made from goatskin leather and suede, available in colors like black, warm grey, orange, and ochre. Michele also introduced two decorative variations: one in black nappa leather with floral and butterfly embroidery and an archival nine-dot design, and another with contrasting rhombus panels and zigzag stitching inspired by harlequin patterns. Originally launched in 2010 by Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, the Rockstud has become a staple for Valentino. The revamped bags can now be found at Valentino stores and online.
