Alessandra García to Present Performance Piece at Museo Picasso Málaga
Performer and creator Alessandra García will present a live art piece titled '(441 – 75): una conversación' at the Museo Picasso Málaga on Thursday, April 9, at 8:00 PM. The event will take place in the museum's temporary exhibition halls where Elena Asins's sculptural installation 'Antígona' (2015) is currently displayed. García's performance is conceived as a ritualistic dialogue with the late conceptual artist Elena Asins, who was a pioneer of computer art in Spain and received the National Plastic Arts Award in 2011. The free event requires prior reservation due to limited capacity. García, a graduate of ESAD Málaga, works in participatory theater and live arts and has presented projects at various institutions including MUPAM and CAC Málaga.
