Alejandro Mañas Explores Silence and the Sacred in "El murmullo de la noche" at Fundación La Posta, Valencia

"El murmullo de la noche," a solo exhibition by Alejandro Mañas, is on display at Fundación La Posta in Valencia until 7 November 2026. Curated by Álvaro de los Ángeles and developed in collaboration with the Universitat Politècnica de València and Espai Nivi, the show presents previously unseen works in installation, photography, ceramics, and sculpture. It delves into themes such as silence, introspection, and the dichotomy of the visible and invisible. A notable work, Materia negra I, engages with a 1686 engraving of Santa Teresa de Jesús. The exhibition reflects the mystical traditions of San Juan de la Cruz and Santa Teresa, highlighting personal exploration. A public dialogue featuring Mañas and de los Ángeles will take place on 22 October at 19:00. Mañas, who graduated from Universidad Miguel Hernández in 2008, was born in Castellón in 1985.
