Alcalá Subastas Launches 2026 Auction Season with Diverse Artworks

Alcalá Subastas will hold its first auction of 2026 on March 18-19 at 5:30 PM at its Madrid location on Calle Núñez de Balboa 9. The event will feature items across multiple categories including jewelry, decorative arts, old master paintings, turn-of-the-century works, and contemporary art. The auction will be conducted in person with live streaming, allowing participation online, in-person, via written bids, or by phone. Notable works include two grisaille sketches by Acisclo Antonio Palomino y Velasco for the Santa Teresa Chapel in Córdoba Cathedral, a full-length portrait from the workshop of Vicente López Portaña, and contemporary pieces by artists like Amalia Avia and Igor Mitoraj.
