Aitor Ortiz's Gaudí Photographs at Can Balaguer

Can Balaguer in Palma de Mallorca is showcasing two summer exhibitions: 'Gaudí. Impresiones íntimas' by Aitor Ortiz and 'The House and The Forest,' curated by Janice McNab. Ortiz's exhibition, which runs until November 15 in the Sala Pilar Montaner, displays nearly seventy small-format black-and-white photographs that highlight the intricate details, textures, and spatial relationships within Antoni Gaudí's architectural work, steering clear of iconic monumental visuals. This exhibition underscores Gaudí's innovative workshop and the blend of craftsmanship with technical advancement. Meanwhile, 'The House and The Forest,' available until September 27 on the noble floor, features works from various artists, including Joan Miró and Joana Vasconcelos, alongside Mallorcan ex-votos. Additionally, Arquitectives offers two workshops related to the exhibitions. Both displays are free and include activities suitable for all ages.
