Actiu Barcelona showroom by Isern Serra blends Mediterranean warmth into workplace design

Office furniture brand Actiu has opened a new showroom in Barcelona designed by Isern Serra. Located on Carrer Tuset, the space reimagines the workplace through a Mediterranean lens, prioritizing light, natural materials, and well-being. Serra used a continuous microcement envelope in cream tones, curved forms, circular openings, and arches to create a calm, fluid environment. A central kitchen acts as the hub for meetings and presentations, protected by a wooden structure that adds domestic scale. The showroom features rugs by Rols, curtains by Kvadrat, lighting by Vibia and Toni Arola, and artworks by Claudia Pastó. Photography is by Salva López.
