Actiu and Alegre Design Launch TNK500 Aurea Task Chair with Metallic Finishes

Actiu, a Spanish furniture manufacturer, has partnered with Alegre Design to introduce the TNK500 Aurea, a refreshed version of the TNK500 task chair, which has been around for 15 years. This new iteration boasts a lightweight yet sturdy aluminum frame and offers a variety of metallic finishes, including bronze, copper, and titanium, alongside the classic black, white, and polished options. Tailored for environments that emphasize both ergonomics and visual appeal, it retains the successful ergonomic features of its predecessor, such as a self-weighting synchronized mechanism for easy adjustment and a tilt lock with four backrest positions. The chair also incorporates Actiu's Air Comfort System, enhancing comfort and promoting healthy posture. Notably, sustainability is prioritized, with nearly 60 percent of the materials being recycled and over 82 percent recyclable at the end of its lifecycle. The TNK500 Aurea can be accessed through Actiu’s London showroom and was featured on Dezeen Showroom, a platform for global product launches.
