ABERTO Solo Inaugurates New Exhibition Space at Teatro Cultura Artística with Luísa Matsushita
The ABERTO platform inaugurated its inaugural solo exhibition series, ABERTO SOLO, at São Paulo's Teatro Cultura Artística, spotlighting Brazilian artist Luísa Matsushita (Lovefoxxx) and her showcase titled "Tudo que eu sei, eu aprendi à noite." This exhibition runs from August 15 to September 27, 2026, with no admission fee. Matsushita's artwork, inspired by her life in the Baixo Augusta area of São Paulo, includes new creations and a striking 15-meter installation in the lobby. Notable collaborations feature embroidered cushions with designer Claudia Moreira Salles and a bracelet inspired by her painting "Hambagu" (2023) with HStern. Founded by Filipe Assis, ABERTO has been hosting exhibitions since 2022, while the Teatro Cultura Artística reopened in 2024 after its restoration, having originally been established in 1912.
