Ábaton Renovates 319 m² Apartment in 1920s Madrid Building

Architecture firm Ábaton has completed a comprehensive renovation of an apartment in a 1920s building in Madrid, Spain. The 319 m² project, finished in 2021, preserves original architectural features while adapting the layout for modern living. Ceilings of 3.3 meters were maintained, and spaces were reconfigured to create open, connected areas. Lead architects from Ábaton oversaw the work, with photography by Belen Imaz.
