aaaa nordhavn Show Explores Logistics and Rhythm in Copenhagen

exhibition · 2026-09-29

From August 20 to September 29, 2026, the aaaa nordhavn gallery in Copenhagen will host "Sequence for an Optimal Dispatch," a group exhibition curated by Guilherme Vilhena Martins. The show features artists such as Villiam Miklos Andersen, Jiyoon Chung, Elisa Diaferia & Juri Simoncini, Gustav Gaston, and Enxhi Mehmeti, who delve into themes of rhythm and logistics. Andersen’s piece "Just-in-Time" (2025) juxtaposes a wooden transport crate with an acrylic version, while Gaston's "Winner Winner Chicken Dinner" (2026) incorporates driftwood and bullet casings. Diaferia and Simoncini's "Heavy rotation" (2026) suspends Listerine bottles from above. Chung contributes a sound piece (2023), and Mehmeti displays "Mami und Babi" (2025). Martins highlights the ethical and political aspects of rhythm. Photography by Brian Kure. Established in 2021 by Aske Aagaard Andersen, aaaa nordhavn promotes emerging artists.
