5 Free Art Exhibitions to See in France This June

The Bibliothèque historique de la Ville de Paris presents a free exhibition of photographs from a 1970 citywide competition, with 100,000 images digitized, on view from June 1 to October 7, 2026. At the Centre d'art contemporain d'Anglet, curator Anne-Laure Lestage brings together 18 artists for 'Tutti Frutti,' an exhibition evoking a market atmosphere, from June 13 to September 19, 2026. The Centre d'art contemporain Bouvet-Ladubay in Saumur showcases 100 portraits of 56 artists by photographer Jean-Marie del Moral, from May 30 to November 1, 2026. Dreux launches its first biennial, PANORAMA, co-organized by L'ar[T]senal, the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire, and the Atelier de vitrail Camade, featuring 11 venues with free events linking contemporary art and crafts. The Musée de Grenoble offers three free exhibitions simultaneously: one on avant-garde artist Léon Tutundjian (1905–1968), another on Charlotte Perriand's mountain photographs (1927–1938), and 'Bernard Descamps.
