28th Contemporary Art Conservation Conference at Reina Sofía, 2027

The 28th Jornadas de Conservación de Arte Contemporáneo is set for March 4–5, 2027, hosted by the Conservation-Restoration Department of Museo Reina Sofía and backed by Fundación Mapfre. This hybrid event will take place at Auditorio 400, featuring 20-minute talks followed by 5-minute question-and-answer sessions. It aims to attract conservators, restorers, art historians, scientists, and students. Submissions must be original, focused on contemporary art conservation, and sent via email to jornada.conservacion@museoreinasofia.es by October 4, 2026. Required materials include a 1,500-word abstract, five keywords, a CV, and contact information. Proposals can be submitted in either Spanish or English and will be assessed by a scientific committee. Selected works may be published after further review.
