264 Artists from Refugee Camps in 'Out of Place' Exhibition

The exhibition 'Out of Place. Arte e storia dai campi rifugiati nel mondo' presents nearly 300 small canvases (10x12 cm) created by 264 artists living in refugee camps worldwide. The works employ diverse materials and techniques—Ukrainian mattresses, Vietnamese bags, wood, paper, fabric scraps, clay, glass, pencils, markers, watercolor, photography, digital graphics, tempera, and collage—forming a powerful mosaic of individual expressions rooted in displacement. Curated by Claudio Scorretti, Irina Ungureanu, and Aman Mojadidi, the show is housed in the external pavilion of Fondazione Rovati and runs until July 19. It is a project of Imago Mundi, the cultural foundation founded by Luciano Benetton. The bilingual catalog (Italian/English) is published by Antiga edizioni.
