25 Years After 9/11: Missing Posters Exhibition Opens in Brooklyn Church
From September 5-13, Phil Buehler, an artist who experienced the fall of the Twin Towers, will showcase his collection of 9/11 missing posters in the exhibition 'Countenance: The 9/11 Missing Posters' at Most Holy Trinity – St Mary's church in Brooklyn, commemorating the 25th anniversary of the attacks. After September 11, 2001, Buehler captured over 500 posters, preserving them for 25 years. The exhibit presents 144 images on 24 panels, co-curated by Olena Speranska and Sarah Celentano, emphasizing the humanity of those featured. Pastor Rick Riccioli describes the display as 'an act of kinship, remembrance, and prayer.'
