Zaha Hadid's Former London Studio to Reopen as Cultural Centre in November 2026
On 3 November 2026, the former Victorian school located at 10 Bowling Green Lane in Clerkenwell, London, will be transformed into a cultural venue dedicated to architecture, design, and the arts, marking a decade since Zaha Hadid's passing. The renovation, carried out by Studio KA, will maintain historical features while incorporating exhibition galleries, educational facilities, and a conference room. Zaha Hadid Design will also operate on the premises, showcasing Hadid's furniture and objects. The opening events will include "Zaha Hadid: Architecture of Performance" and "The Rebar Beneath," with a symposium titled "89° of Zaha Hadid" scheduled for 30 and 31 October. Since 2025, Aric Chen has led the Foundation, which seeks to enhance access to Hadid's legacy.
