Vie dei Tesori Celebrates 20 Years with 116 Palermo Sites, Including First-Time Openings
The Vie dei Tesori cultural festival in Sicily marks its 20th anniversary in Palermo from October 9 to November 15, 2026. Established by Laura Anello, the festival has grown to encompass 18 cities, including Mantova. In Palermo, attendees can explore 116 venues, partake in 55 experiences, enjoy 65 guided walks, and engage in workshops, events, tastings, and activities for children across six weekends. A special Notte bianca dei tesori will take place on November 7-8, allowing nighttime access to eight cultural sites. Notable attractions include Casa Savona, newly opened after its acquisition by Regione Sicilia in 2023; Monte di Pietà with its 16th-century ceilings; Teatro Finocchiaro, which opened on February 24, 1923; and Villino Ida, constructed in 1903. The festival also reaches Bagheria, Alcamo, Leonforte, Catania, and Ragusa.
