From 2 to 10 October 2026, Rome will host the thirteenth edition of the Riscarti Festival, titled SEARculART, which centers on themes of water and the sea. Under the direction of Marlene Scalise, the festival will showcase recycled art, featuring creations like a whale and jellyfish that will parade through the city. The festivities kick off on 2 October at Museo Explora, followed by a parade to the Marevivo Floating Hub. Artists such as Bruno Melappioni and groups like Telling Roses will participate. Additionally, two discussions on sustainability are planned for 7 and 10 October. The event will also include workshops, exhibitions, and performances, concluding on 11 October, with support from the Commissione Nazionale Italiana per l’Unesco.
