Ortigia Film Festival 2026 Taps Mirko Leuzzi for Poster and Installation Show
From September 20 to 26, 2026, Siracusa will host the XVIII Ortigia Film Festival, showcasing the official poster, "Quando il vento non soffiava," created by Mirko Leuzzi. This piece, part of a series focused on female figures, resonates with the festival's theme, "Oltre il tempo. Memoria e Visione." Born in Rome in 1992, Leuzzi began his artistic journey during the pandemic, delving into themes of identity and the connection between humans and nature. The poster's design comes from Carmelo Iocolano of RedtomatoADV. Leuzzi will contribute the original artwork, and an exhibition titled OFF18 Leuzzi: Memoria Futura will be held at Ortea Palace Hotel from September 20 to 26, featuring three pieces, with support from Davide Bramante.
