Il State Theatre di Melbourne riapre con 18.000 biglietti gratuiti per il festival di inaugurazione
L'Ian Potter State Theatre presso l'Arts Centre Melbourne celebrerà la sua riapertura anticipata con un festival di inaugurazione dal 9 al 12 ottobre, sei mesi prima del previsto. Questa sede, la più grande per le arti performative in Australia, ha subito lavori di ristrutturazione per la prima volta dal 1984, rimanendo chiusa per oltre due anni. Il festival offrirà 18.000 biglietti gratuiti per spettacoli diretti da Michael Kantor, con talenti come Jude Perl, Brett Chynoweth, Emma Donovan, Eliza Hull, roya the destroya, insieme a Circus Oz e Opera Australia. Spettacoli per famiglie dei The Listies sono previsti per l'11 ottobre. L'atto di apertura, Gugu Dindi Gunyah, si terrà il 3 ottobre, seguito dal Concerto Gala Wagner dell'Opera Australia il 16 ottobre e Lo Schiaccianoci a partire dal 24 ottobre.
