Marmomac 60th Edition: Carlo Ratti Keynote and The Bedrock Cultural Space

festival-fair · 2026-09-14

From September 22 to 25, Carlo Ratti will deliver a keynote address to inaugurate the 60th edition of Marmomac at Veronafiere. This fair, which focuses on the natural stone supply chain, traces its roots back to the Mostra del Marmo e delle Macchine established in 1940. A new cultural initiative, The Bedrock – Leading the Future of Natural Stone, overseen by Giorgio Canale, features four exhibitions centered around the Pantheon installation, curated by Joseph Grima, Davide Fabio Colaci, Raffaello Galiotto, and Giuseppe Fallacara. The Pantheon showcases fifteen columns crafted from 60 stone varieties provided by Cereser. The event will introduce the Eccellenze Sostenibili award for sustainable innovation and will see the return of the Best Communicator Award for its 18th year. The 2026 edition anticipates 1,400 exhibitors and 50,000 visitors.
