MAGEÍA Festival Debuts at Rome's Palazzo delle Esposizioni with Quiet Ensemble Art Takeover

festival-fair · 2026-09-14

From 17 to 19 September 2026, the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome will host the first edition of MAGEÍA | Art, Music, Take Over, a festival conceived by Lux Entertainment that transforms the museum into a dancefloor and immersive art venue. The event is directed by Francesco Dobrovich (Head of Art and Curation), with Fabio Fantauzzi as Head of Communication and Roberto Fantauzzi as CEO. The festival merges music, visual art, and architecture, featuring a site-specific Art Takeover by Quiet Ensemble, a duo active since 2009 known for monumental light and sound scenography. Their intervention is described as a kind of first retrospective, with reworked iconic installations adapted to the Palazzo's spaces. The musical lineup unfolds over three nights: 17 September with Non-Limits Party featuring Gemitaiz, Sine, Gengis, Frenetik, and Whtrtrsh in a seven-hour set; 18 September with Elasi (live), Shubostar (DJ set, first time in Italy), and Alex Neri (Planet Funk co-founder); and 19 September with Breakbot & Irfane of Ed Banger Records, celebrating French Touch. Daytime entry (10:00–16:00) is free, while evening events (18:00–02:00) require tickets. The festival aims to attract new audiences to the museum and may travel to other cities, following Lux Entertainment's format strategy. The Palazzo delle Esposizioni is located at Via Nazionale 194, Rome.
