Il collettivo Hilma's Ghost costruisce una pratica esoterica femminista attraverso workshop e arte pubblica
Fondato da Dannielle Tegeder e Sharmistha Ray in seguito alla retrospettiva del 2018 su Hilma af Klint al Guggenheim Museum, il collettivo artistico femminista Hilma's Ghost è emerso durante la pandemia di COVID-19. Tegeder, membro della facoltà del Lehman College della CUNY, e Ray, che insegna alla Carnegie Mellon University, approfondiscono temi come la mortalità e le spiritualità alternative. Offrono workshop incentrati su pratiche esoteriche e hanno presentato 'Abstract Futures Tarot' all'Armory Show nel 2021. Nel 2025, un mosaico ispirato al mazzo di tarocchi è stato commissionato da MTA Arts and Design e installato alla Grand Central Station. Il collettivo conduce anche workshop in tutto il paese e presenta mostre a Città del Messico e al Museum of Contemporary Art Tucson, celebrando artisti emarginati.
