Frieze New York si prepara a celebrare la sua quinta edizione dal 5 all'8 maggio al Randall's Island Park di Manhattan, in concomitanza con il 25° anniversario della rivista Frieze. L'evento, diretto da Victoria Siddall insieme ad Abby Bangser e Joanna Stella-Sawicka, presenterà oltre 200 gallerie provenienti da 31 nazioni. I momenti salienti includono la sezione principale con artisti come Tracey Emin e Rachel Whiteread, Spotlight curata da Clara M Kim, Focus curata da Fabian Schöneich e Jacob Proctor, e Frame per le gallerie emergenti. Tra i partecipanti italiani di rilievo ci sono Lorcan O'Neill e Massimo De Carlo. Cecilia Alemani curerà Frieze Projects e Frieze Sounds, mentre Frieze Talks coprirà diversi argomenti. Fiere satellite come NADA New York e Art New York si svolgeranno anche, insieme a mostre con artisti come Enrico Castellani e Cao Fei.
