Fondazione Horti and ICS Maugeri Partner to Offer Palliative Care Patients Access to Art and Nature Park in Pavia

institutional · 2026-09-17

Every Monday, patients receiving palliative care in Pavia will enjoy exclusive access to a 3-hectare natural park, thanks to a partnership between ICS Maugeri and Fondazione Horti. Established in late 2024, this park combines natural environments with contemporary art and aims to promote social inclusion, ultimately improving the emotional and spiritual health of its visitors. Alberto Lolli, the Rector of Almo Collegio Borromeo, highlighted the importance of caring for those who are often overlooked. Covering 35,000 square meters, the park is home to various plant and animal species, historical artifacts, including the 12th-century San Marco church, and will feature a photography exhibition by Luca Bernasconi alongside works from Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro.
