Farsettiarte Brings De Chirico, Savinio and Severini to Florence BIAF 2026

• The XXXIV Biennale Internazionale dell’Antiquariato di Firenze takes place from 26 September to 4 October 2026 at Palazzo Corsini, Florence.
• Galleria d’Arte Frediano Farsetti presents works by Giorgio de Chirico, Alberto Savinio, and Gino Severini.
• De Chirico’s Il tempio di Apollo (1920, oil on panel) was originally titled Edipo e la Sfinge and was exhibited in 1921 in Milan, Berlin, and Hannover.
• De Chirico’s Niobe (1921, oil on canvas) is based on the Niobe sculpture in the Uffizi and was painted in Florence.
• Alberto Savinio’s Senza titolo (1929) is a biomorphic composition set against a marine landscape.
