DGCC Brings Museum Acquisitions and MIRA to 33rd Artissima in Turin

festival-fair · 2026-10-20

From 30 October to 1 November 2026, Artissima in Turin will showcase the DGCC, headed by Costantino D'Orazio, which is strengthening its position through a new partnership with GNAMC for selecting acquisitions for its collection. The DGCC will introduce MIRA, a cultural center in Messina, which will feature the debut of Polisonum's performance, Posso sentire ciò che ancora non riesco a vedere, presented daily at 17:00. Additionally, two DGCC venues will host discussions recorded as video podcasts. This event celebrates the tenth anniversary of the Italian Council, established in October 2016. D'Orazio will give a talk on 31 October at 16:30, followed by a discussion on contemporary art as cultural diplomacy with Angelo Piero Cappello and Alberto Samonà on 1 November at 16:15.
