Contemporary Istanbul 2024 apre con focus su Spagna e America Latina
La 19ª edizione di Contemporary Istanbul, la principale fiera d'arte contemporanea della Turchia, si terrà dal 24 al 27 ottobre 2024, con un'anteprima il 23 ottobre presso Tersane Istanbul. Quest'anno la fiera presenterà 53 gallerie, tra cui 21 importanti gallerie turche, in collaborazione con Akbank. Spagna e America Latina sono al centro del programma del paese ospite, con una sezione dedicata. Tra i partecipanti di rilievo figurano Andrea Rehder Gallery e Jorge Lopez Galeria. Curata da Juan Manuel Bonet, la mostra principale, 'Born in the Seventies', esporrà 21 opere provenienti da 15 gallerie spagnole. Inoltre, la Yard Outdoor Exhibition presenterà 19 opere curate da Marc Olivier Wahler, mentre la conferenza CIF Dialogues vedrà la partecipazione di relatori come Fatih Altaylı e Marc Olivier Wahler. La fiera mira a rafforzare lo status di Istanbul come polo artistico di primo piano, con il sostegno di vari partner.
