Cambi Casa d'Aste will hold a charity sale titled "Gioielli, argenti, arredi e oggetti d'arte. Un lascito per finalità benefiche" on 14 October in Genoa, with two sessions starting at 9.30 and 14.30. Viewing runs Sunday 11, Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 October, from 10 to 18. The catalogue exceeds 700 lots drawn from an eclectic collection left for charitable purposes, with jewellery as the dominant category. Leading lots include rings set with diamonds and emeralds, parures, necklaces and brooches, alongside silverware and decorative objects. Among the highlights are an old-cut diamond ring of approximately 6.07 carats, estimated at €15,000–16,000; a brilliant-cut diamond ring of about 7.18 carats, estimated at €12,000–13,000; and a diamond rivière totalling roughly 20 carats, estimated at €3,700–4,500. A Zendrini evening bag set with diamonds carries an estimate of €20,200–25,000. Decorative silver includes candelabra, centrepieces, trays and a neobaroque amphora-form table centrepiece. Notable among the silver is a surtout de table bearing London assay marks of 1875 and the maker's mark of Robert Garrard, estimated at €5,200–6,000. The furniture and decorative objects section features four glass works signed Émile Gallé, a carved 20th-century bed, a pair of Bergère Chesterfield armchairs with the Barcalounger mark, and an English-manufactured Chesterfield suite.
