Berlin Art Week 2026: Caravaggio and De Bruyckere at the Italian Embassy
From September 9 to 13, 2026, the 15th Berlin Art Week will showcase approximately 120 museums, galleries, and collections, primarily located at Kulturforum. Notable attractions include Maurizio Cattelan's NIGHT at the Neue Nationalgalerie, running until March 7, 2027, Ryuichi Sakamoto's retrospective at Hamburger Bahnhof, available until May 23, 2027, and Carrie Mae Weems' The Heart of the Matter at C/O Berlin, which concludes on February 3, 2027. The Italian Embassy, the inaugural diplomatic participant in the event, will launch on September 7, presenting Caravaggio's Maddalena in estasi alongside a new piece by Berlinde De Bruyckere.
