La scena artistica e musicale dell'estate 2026 ad Aspen: dalla prima retrospettiva museale di Arch Connelly all'Up in the Sky Festival

La rivista CULTURED mette in luce nove eventi culturali imperdibili ad Aspen per l'estate 2026. L'Aspen Art Museum presenta 'Arch Connelly: Straighten Your Wig and Pray', la prima retrospettiva museale dedicata al compianto artista dell'East Village, in programma fino all'11 ottobre. Il museo ospita anche AIR 2026: Figures in a Landscape (27–31 luglio), con performance di Camille Henrot, Kali Malone, Morgan Bassichis e Matthew Barney. L'Anderson Ranch Arts Center a Snowmass Village celebra il suo 60° anniversario con una serie estiva (9 luglio–6 agosto) che include conferenze di Roberto Lugo, Marilyn Minter e Lisa Phillips. Il Resnick Center for Herbert Bayer Studies presenta 'Double Take: Recurrent Dialogues in the Art of Herbert Bayer' fino al 3 aprile 2027, con 70 opere rare. La Baldwin Gallery ospita 'Eunoia' di Ross Bleckner (24 luglio–7 settembre). Casa Tua Aspen festeggia il suo 25° anniversario con una mostra fotografica che include Gregory Crewdson, Richard Mosse, Lara Porzak, Anastasia Samoylova e Roe Ethridge. Il Red Brick Center for the Arts organizza Mall Fest 50, per il 50° anniversario dell'Aspen Pedestrian Mall, con opere di Rachel B. Hayes e Chris Erickson. La stagione estiva dell'Aspen Music Festival and School prosegue fino al 23 agosto, con debutti di Matthew Aucoin e Yuja Wang, e Caroline Shaw come Principal Guest Composer. L'Up in the Sky Music Festival torna al Buttermilk Ski Resort il 7–8 agosto, con headliner John Summit e Dom Dolla.
