Archtober 2026 apre in tutta New York City con il tema 'In Our Hands'
Oggi inizia Archtober, il mese di New York City dedicato all'architettura e al design, che proseguirà fino al 31 ottobre. Parteciperanno oltre 100 istituzioni culturali, offrendo una varietà di tour, conferenze, proiezioni e workshop. Il programma del 2026 includerà Newburgh, Rhinebeck e New Windsor. Il tema di quest'anno, 'In Our Hands', si concentra su questioni come il cambiamento climatico, l'IA e la divisione politica. Gli eventi sono suddivisi in categorie come Natura, Media, Cultura, Storia e Educazione. Tra le attività di rilievo figurano i tour 'Building of the Day' di OMA e Studio Gang, la prima di un film di un vincitore del Premio Pritzker al MoMA e un tour di Halloween in un deposito di nettezza urbana.
