ZEGNA Presents Summer 2027 Collection on Malibu Pier

ZEGNA unveiled its Summer 2027 collection titled "La Villeggiatura" on the iconic Malibu Pier in Los Angeles. The collection revives the Italian tradition of villeggiare, a seasonal ritual from the 1950s-1970s where families relocated to the countryside or seaside for extended stays. Artistic Director Alessandro Sartori emphasized a softer approach to dressing, rooted in movement and experience rather than formality. The collection features relaxed silhouettes, striped seersucker fabrics, and accessories like leather slippers and suede totes. Colors draw from the sea: aquamarine, acqua, onda, alga, and marea. Sartori described the collection as a ZEGNA take on summer leisure dressing with a cultivated Italian attitude, blending Italian Villeggiatura with Americana. The brand's support of California State Parks echoes the founding philosophy of Oasi Zegna, the protected natural territory established by founder Ermenegildo Zegna over a century ago. The collection aims to adapt to modern "liquid lives," offering garments that transition from countryside to city.
