ZBIOLAND Releases Harry Potter-Inspired Watch with Moving Serpent Dial

market-auction · 2026-04-04

Chinese watchmaker ZBIOLAND has introduced a new timepiece inspired by the Harry Potter franchise, specifically drawing from the Chamber of Secrets narrative. Developed in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, the ZBL 1019 'Serpent' model features a three-dimensional mechanical snake that glides across the watch face, evoking the Basilisk creature from the series. The design incorporates Slytherin house themes, with a snakeskin strap and a case back depicting the Chamber of Secrets door motif with eight detailed serpents. Crafted from Crystal Titanium Grade 5, the watch is described by the manufacturer as a kinetic sculpture for the wrist, with twelve rotating gear-shaped indicators resembling dark gothic flowers. The development process involved 400 days of research and design, along with twenty prototype iterations. Originally limited to 200 units globally, only 30 pieces reportedly remain available for purchase through the company's online store. The watch aims to blend organic and industrial aesthetics, capturing the mysterious essence central to the Harry Potter universe.
