artist · 2026-06-23

Zander Galerie has announced representation of American photographer Tina Barney, known for her large-scale, color-saturated images of domestic life and social rituals. Active since the 1980s, Barney directs her subjects to create cinematic tableaux that blend history painting's scale with snapshot spontaneity. Her editorial and fashion work will be the focus of "Tina Barney FASHION," a monograph from Aperture due this fall.
