Photographer Paul Clemence has captured the Gateway Centre in West Kowloon, Hong Kong, as it approaches its final stages of construction. By 2024, the building reached the roof level, moving on to the installation of the facade and interior finishing touches. Situated above the functioning West Kowloon Station, this development connects to the 1.5-kilometer landscaped West Kowloon Parkway, offering access to parks and the waterfront. The structure encompasses civic, office, and retail areas across five levels, boasting nearly 100,000 square feet of public space. Two pairs of office towers are linked, framing a central plaza that facilitates pedestrian flow. The facade features vertical shading fins and a curved design. Clemence's images emphasize the project's massing and its relationship with the surrounding environment.
